I just have to say, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your loving and supportive and prayerful comments. Seriously, you have no idea how MUCH those comments mean to me. They can carry me through a bad moment, they show me that I am not alone, and they remind me of the strength I have within me. When you leave a comment, if you are comfortable with it, please leave your name! In sending me your love and support, I would love to know your name and love you back. ;) Thank you. xoxo

Dear Jenny, Today I came across an email Mark sent me with your blog from back when we were having a conversation about goats and chickens and other cool projects you were blogging about so I clicked on it and found your beautiful tribute to Vienne, the most beautiful little girl I have ever met. I heard about Vienne and wanted to reach out to you and Mark but wasn't quite sure what to say. Words could not express how sorry I was for your loss. I got you a card but didn't have a mailing address so regrettably I never sent it. On the card it reads "the tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, yet echoes on in sweet soulful refrains. For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains." Please know that you and Mark and Vienne are always in my heart. I have not met Ivy yet but I am positive she is quite amazing, just like her mom and dad and big sister. When I picture you all at the beach I can't help but smile.ReplyDelete
Hugs to you~tracy
Thank you so much for reaching out and leaving me this sweet note. It means a lot - truly. Thank you for the words from your card - they are very beautiful and touching. I am glad that you found Vienne's blog and that you can get to know our sweet Girl even better.
Much love ~ Jenny
Praying for you and Mark tonight, and tomorrow too. You've been on my heart. ((hugs)) - CamilleReplyDelete
You and Mark have been on my mind and in my heart this week. I don't know what you see when you look back over the past year, but I see an amazing and beautiful mother who, from the midst of her own grief reaches out to others. Thanking people personally on your blog, remembering birthdays, attending weddings, remaining a present and devoted mother to Ivy...I know the list could go on and on. You've created moments of beauty by planting flowers, posting pictures and videos, and taking Ivy to the places that were precious to you, Mark and Vienne. I also see that you have had the incredible courage to look inside - to face the overwhelming darkness that was so unfairly thrust on you. You didn't have to share any of what you have gone through, but in doing so you and Vienne have touched my heart.ReplyDelete
Wow, Mary Alice...thank you for this. All I can say is a humbled and wholehearted THANK YOU.Delete
^^^Well said!^^^ Mary Alice - I wholeheartedly agree!!!ReplyDelete
I've been thinking of you guys lately. The Thanksgiving photos are beautiful. What a talented sister-in-law you have! Ivy looks so much like you, Jenny. I can only imagine the chase that went on to capture those pictures.ReplyDelete
Anyway, Christmas is such a child-centered time. I'm guessing that makes it really difficult. Know that prayers for you are being lifted up.
I just saw a dress that I think you should check out: http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/dino-my-gosh-dress-in-pine?SSAID=687298&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=sas&utm_campaign=687298&utm_content=417942&gate=falseReplyDelete
